A Devotion for the Dog Days of Summer
Inspired by THIS ARTICLE
How beautiful is it that during the peak of summers our brains work beautifully. This summer feels like a summer of growth; accomplishing goals and getting back on our feet. God has been showing me hints every day that life is going to be getting better soon. I will hold on to that faith even when life is not going in the direction I thought it would. This summer feels like sunshine on your shoulders, love on the seas.
Multiple dates with friends in a week, and business meetings on the horizon.
I pray that summer is all about growth, moving forward with God and grace. Every day I will thank God. Every day I will hold on to the path of tomorrow.
Every day I will show love for those in my life. Every day I will read 1 Bible Verse. Every day I will make a small dent in
Every day I will savor the love that comes from our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Psalm 121
A song of ascents.
1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? 2 My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; 4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord watches over you—
the Lord is your shade at your right hand; 6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; 8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
